Where is the email that I sent through Email to Salesforce to my Salesforce?

How many times do we catch ourselves thinking: "...but I referred My Email to Salesforce when I sent the email...Where is the email?!"

To guarantee that all emails sent through Email to Salesforce are associated to the proper entity, there is a section available - "My Unresolved Items" - that stores the emails when information in the email is not clear or does not exist yet.

This section allows users to identify unlinked emails and add them properly to an entity.

  1. Access the "My Unresolved Items" page using the Unresolved Items shortcut on the sidebar.
  2. Review unassigned items by type using the tabs Contacts, Events, and Tasks.
  3. View your unassigned items.
  4. Assign your items to Salesforce records—either manually or using Salesforce recommendations—or confirm you want to leave them unassigned.
